When the Night Sets

Do you ever watch the night sky and feel like the black clouds are mountains, standing over you, protecting you. Do you ever feel so in awe that you feel scared? And wonder, if you could just turn the light on, how beautiful it all really looks.

This piece reminds me of how I imagine the dark sky looking if the sun did set on it. How beautifully the clouds formed if I could just see it. The significance of the light if it could only show us at that moment in time.

But I like the imagination, I don’t really want the sun to come up, I want to live in that image until it becomes a reality. Because imagination is freedom, it’s the child within us.
